How to Ferment: Kimchi Brussels Sprouts

In this two hour hands on class you will learn at-home fermentation basics as we show you step by step instructions on how to make a small batch of kimchi brussels sprouts. Everyone walks out with a jar of kimchi brussels sprouts and lots of knowledge on how to make kimchi at home and the recipe!

In the class we will go over local agriculture and nutrition, how sustainability directly affects our health and our community, canning supplies, myths, methods and step by step procedures. You'll be emailed a booklet with everything mapped out in detail to help you begin small batches on your own! 

The class is held at The Urban Canning Kitchen and taught by founder, Illene Sofranko. Address is 1040 4 St. N in St. Pete!

The class is $65 and there are 14 seats available!
