This class is all about chutneys! We'll teach you the difference between jelly, jams, chutneys, preserves and conserves! We will go over canning for beginners and we will create a chutney together! Everyone will walk away with lots of food preservation knowledge and a jar of chutney we make during the class.
In the class we will go over local agriculture and nutrition, how sustainability directly affects our health and our community, canning supplies, myths, methods and step by step procedures. You'll be emailed a booklet with everything mapped out in detail to help you begin urban canning small batches on your own!
