Sunday, February 25th from 12-2p
In this class we’ll be learning how to ferment our own vinegar and then how to turn that vinegar into a shrub! Shrubs are a sweetened drinking vinegar! Everyone will walk out with a mother of vinegar to start their own at home vinegar ferments and with a jar of shrub!
In the class we will go over local agriculture and nutrition, how sustainability directly affects our health and our community, canning supplies, myths, methods and step by step procedures. You'll be emailed a booklet with everything mapped out in detail to help you begin urban canning small batches on your own!
