Sunday October 22nd from 12-2pm.
In this two hour hands on class you will learn some
at-home fermentation basics and we show you step by step instructions on how to make small batches of kimchi yourself. You will leave that day with an informational booklet and a jar of kimchi!
We will also have a sampling of fermenting foods and kombucha!
We will also go over local agriculture and nutrition, how sustainability directly affects our health and our community, canning supplies, myths, methods and step by step procedures. You'll be emailed a booklet with everything mapped out in detail to help you begin urban canning small batches on your own! You'll also take home a jar of pickles you created yourself!
